It’s been an unusually warm winter, and this weekend has been no different. Today was around 65 in the afternoon, so we decided to find somewhere new to explore. I had seen some photos of Arabia Mountain back in my photography days and wanted to check it out, so off we went. Chris carried you in the carrier, which you were fine with once we stopped for a snack break. For a while, though, we were thinking you were going to cry for the entire hike. Yikes.
Arabia Mountain is a granite outcropping that used to be a quarry. There are lots of rock walls and little boulders scattering the “trails.” I decided to bring the desert dress that I had made you for a few photos since it was just about the most barren (and, thus, desert-like) landscape we’d see around Atlanta. All in all, it was a fun outing!
